Mr James Arnot

Jamie graduated from Glasgow University in 1998. In 2001 he was successful in gaining membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons in London and in 2004 he achieved membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Glasgow.
Jamie has been the owner and principal dentist at Bridge of Allan Dental Care since 2008. For the ten years prior to that he worked in a number of different areas of dentistry. He has worked in NHS and mixed dental practices in Dumfries and Edinburgh. He also spent two years doing further training in hospital dentistry. Firstly as a house officer in the restorative department of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and then as a senior house officer in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Falkirk Royal Infirmary. He also spent an exciting few months as a flying dentist in the outback of South Australia.
Over the years Jamie has undergone considerable postgraduate training and has attended and continues to attend courses up and down the country and abroad. His main interest is restorative dentistry as he enjoys the challenge of improving the function and aesthetics of someone’s smile.
Jamie is married and has two daughters. Out with work he enjoys reading and running 10Ks.
Ms Sally Johnston

Sally graduated from dental school in Dundee in 2008. She went on to work in Glasgow in general practice, community services and hospital where she gained her membership to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. She spent 3 years working in private practice in Australia before returning to home turf to work in Central Scotland.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in sports dentistry, enjoying working with athletes both elite and club level to ensure their oral health can positively contribute to their sporting performance. She also enjoys children’s dentistry, understanding the importance of a good dental experience for youngsters to seem up for life.She strives to provide comprehensive, gentle and effective restorative dental care to patients, putting their health and comfort at the forefront of what she does.
Outside of work Sally keeps busy running after her 3 wee boys and loves cooking, staying fit and active.
Ms Rebecca Little

Rebecca loves a relaxed and happy experience at the dentist. She understands patients can be nervous, so asks how each may be made more comfortable and works efficiently, tailoring her treatment to each person. She believes knowing her patients well is crucial. When planning treatment, she considers what is important to each individual and ensures she thoroughly explains each option and what is involved. She likes answering questions and supporting patients in decision making.
Rebecca qualified from Glasgow University and has worked in various practices, most recently, Falkirk. She is experienced and motivated to learn new skills, allowing her to continually improve the range of treatments she can offer, using the latest equipment and technology.
Rebecca has two children and a husband. She currently spends her time in softplays and parks – wherever she gets the chance to sit down and have a (probably cold!) cup of tea. She skis, plays the cello and enjoys gardening.
Ms Victoria Boles

Victoria joined Bridge of Allan Dental Care in 2024. She graduated from the University of Dundee in 2010 and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, Glasgow, in 2013. She has pursued a career in general practice, enjoying the variety it offers. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and stays current with the latest advancements by attending regular training events.
Known for her warm and friendly approach, Victoria takes the time to truly listen to her patients. She believes in making every visit comfortable and stress-free, ensuring that treatment options are clear and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Outside work Victoria loves spending quality time with her husband, two children and their much loved Labrador Murphy. The family can often be found enjoying beach days and adventures in their classic VW campervan.
Dr Stuart McLaren

Stuart qualified in dentistry from Glasgow University in 1999 and passed his Membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001. He subsequently studied Medicine at the University of Dundee and qualified as a medical doctor in 2005. Following several years working in the varying disciplines of medicine and surgery throughout the West of Scotland he returned primarily to work within Dentistry.
He is fully registered with the General Dental Council and the General Medical Council and holds a licence to practice Medicine within the UK. He is an examiner for the MFDS examination at The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and was appointed as a Clinical Lecturer in Medicine in Relation to Dentistry by the University of Glasgow in August 2018.
He has undergone extensive postgraduate training in dental implantology since 2007 both nationally and internationally including at the world renowned Branemark Centre for osseointegration in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Mrs Jennifer McFarlane

Jennifer graduated from Edinburgh Dental Institute in 2003. She enjoys her job and is well known for her gentle approach. Jennifer attends various courses throughout the year to keep her skills up to date, learn new techniques and keep abreast of new products on the market.
Jennifer is married and has a teenage daughter. She enjoys going to the gym and the cinema in her spare time.
Mrs Susan Coull
Practice Manager

Susan is our practice manager and she is also a qualified dental nurse.
Susan has had a varied career in both general practice and hospital settings, working with children with special needs. She then specialised in orthodontics where she gained her qualification in dental radiography before moving back into general practice where she achieved her practice management qualification and developed her managerial skills.
At home, when Susan is not meeting up with friends and family or visiting the theatre she loves to potter in her garden.
Amanda Clark

Amanda joined the practice in 2010 and settled in very quickly. Prior to joining us she had worked in Bannockburn and Stirling.
Amanda has a two young children and when she does find some spare time she enjoys keeping fit.
Lindsey Morrison

Lindsey has been a dental nurse for over 20 years now and has worked in practices in Glasgow and Stirling in that time. She is a very friendly person and will quickly put you at ease.
Out with work Lindsey is kept busy running after her young daughter.

Amy joined the team in June 2018. Amy enjoys dental nursing and the variety that each day brings.
In her spare time Amy enjoys holidays in the sunshine and being with friends.
Kathleen McCollum

Kathleen is a welcome addition to the team at Bridge of Allan Dental Care.
Kathleen has been a dental nursing for almost 20 years and is qualified in Childsmile and impression taking.
In her free time Kathleen loves spending time at her static caravan by the seaside with her husband and two young grandchildren

Debbie has worked in dentistry for over 20 years and particularly enjoys delivering individualized patient centred care.
Debbie is interested in holistic health and homeopathy.
In her spare time Debbie likes to walk her rescue dog Phoebe and is a keen amateur photographer.
